• MIT OEOP Website & Program Logos

    Opus worked with the Office of Engineering Outreach Programs at MIT to create a youthful and sophisticated website redesign that houses their many outreach programs. The project included logo refreshes for each of the five programs and creating a look of cohesion across diverse departments.

  • German International School Rebranding and Logo Redesign

    As part of an overall rebranding effort, Opus redesigned the logo of the German International School Boston (GISB). With the refresh to have a more contemporary look and appeal to families with younger children, functional aspects of the logo were also considered. The rebranding project included strategic considerations, as well as a variety of other design executions.

  • Southern Vermont Deerfield Valley Logo Design

    Opus worked with the Southern Vermont Deerfield Valley Chamber of Commerce to rebrand the region. Before the design, we worked with the steering committee to identify strategic and marketing goals. A new positioning statement helped to refine & target our thinking & design. Our goal with the brand/logo was to promote the valley as a four season destination in a sophisticated way.

  • Westcoast Fresh Logo Design

    The new Westcoast Fresh logo needed to be modern, clean and signal the quality of the products they sell. Without representing any one specific fruit or vegetable, Opus created this logo design to suggest a variety of healthy produce.

  • MIT AeroAstro Logo

  • Logo Design for MIT Institute for Medical Engineering & Science

    The Institute for Medical Engineering and Science (IMES) advances human health through the convergence of medicine, engineering and science. Explaining, and representing, this work through the logo was as important design goal. The venn diagram here becomes the symbol for this nexus.

  • Women in Development Logo Design

    Logo design for the Women in Development of Greater Boston, a volunteer-run nonprofit promoting and supporting the advancement of women in the development profession. The rebranding and logo design provide a look and feel that matches the quality of programming and communicates the inviting community and sharing of ideas.

  • Carbon Neutral Cities Alliance Logo

    For this award-winning logo design, the client team was made up of members of the USDN (Urban Sustainability Directors Network) and municipal leaders from Copenhagen, Vancouver, Oslo and 4 other cities around the world. They wanted a logo that could reference the idea of city, the group’s collaborative approach, as well as an optimistic world view.

    Branding and logo design for the MIT Institute for Data Systems, and Society (IDSS). IDSS research addresses complex societal problems by focusing on overarching challenges that transcend domains and disciplines such as modeling and prediction of system behavior and performance, systems design and architecture, social welfare and sustainability, and resilience and systemic risk.

  • MassCommute Bicycle Challenge

    For the 20th anniversary of this annual challenge, Massachusetts residents competed for the most miles commuted by bike — and now they’ll track their miles with a new responsive website design by Opus. Tracking miles is easy & fun with our interactive calendar, the CO2 saved is automatically displayed with the emissions calculator, & the homepage shows the leaderboard in real time.
