Julia Frenkle (CENTER)
FOUNDER, CREATIVE DIRECTOR | BRANDING
Julia graduated with a BFA in graphic design from Massachusetts College of Art and Design and received a MA in Integrated Marketing Communications at Emerson College. Before starting Opus Design, she served as an art director at Monitor Group in Cambridge, MA. Julia has worked with dozens of organizations to help frame their professional identities and successfully connect them to the market.

Lily Robles (RIGHT)
CREATIVE DIRECTOR | CONTENT STRATEGY
Lily joined Opus Design after 22 years of design and production at Monitor Group in Cambridge, MA where she was the Global Design Manager and then later the Design Studio Art Director. At Boston College, she earned two BAs in English and Philosophy with a minor in Art History. Lily received a writing/copy editing certificate from Emerson College in 2012. Lily lives in Boston and credits Edward Tufte for her approach to information design.

Ellery graduated with a BFA in graphic design from Massachusetts College of Art and Design. She also gained much of her technical education while she studied at Rochester Institute of Technology and Parsons The New School for Design.

Emily Knapp (SECOND FROM LEFT)
SENIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER | INFORMATION DESIGN
Emily graduated with a BFA in graphic design from Massachusetts College of Art and Design. Emily specializes in infographics and the visualization of complex data. She has designed hundreds of graphics for Harvard Business Publishing and other organizations.

Casey McGee (SECOND FROM RIGHT)
SENIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER | GRAPHIC ILLUSTRATION
Casey received her BFA in graphic design from Massachusetts College of Art and Design and specializes in graphic illustration. Her illustration skills are extremely valuable in the design of strong logo marks.

Kalman Zabarsky 
PHOTOGRAPHER
Opus works with freelance photographer Kalman Zabarsky on photo assignments for print and web. Before freelancing, Kal was a photographer at BU for 40 years. His photographs have been essential in defining Boston University publications. Kal also produced photographs for the Boston University Academy (high school) and the Learning Center at Boston University ‘s School of Education. Kal‘s work is a blend of craft, talent and style.
